Saturday witnessed a rare scene of a sullen-looking Buddy Pough following a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game.
Such a sight following a setback to Florida A&M Saturday at Oliver C. Dawson was not only even rarer, but unheard of during his head coaching tenure at South Carolina State.
Heading into the contest, the Rattlers and North Carolina A&T were a combined 0-17 against the Bulldogs, who had a 61-14 record in conference play under Pough.

TAMPA - Sales might be B.J. Daniels' calling if football doesn't work out for USF's star quarterback.
The redshirt junior made tons of highlight reel plays in Saturday's 70-17 victory over Florida A&M that helped him end up in the USF record books.
"It's definitely an honor to be tied with Grothe," Daniels said. "He's definitely done a lot for this program."

On an extremely chilly North Carolina Saturday, the Wildcats put away all doubts that the team from Florida might struggle in that ‘football weather’.
